We got so many nice compliments on how good the food was, how well organized everything was, how clean everything was, etc. And we couldn't have done it without you and your staff. Please thank everyone, kitchen staff, bartenders, cleaning staff etc. Thank you". (Faith Lutheran Church Benefit here at the O.V.)

"My boyfriend and I would sincerely like to tell you how much we have enjoyed this wonderful vacation to Three Lakes and your lovely establishment. We would like to thank you so much for offering the "get away" package on the radio station. It truly allowed us to enjoy a vacation we never would have been able to afford. The meals have been out of this world, but even more importantly, the individuals we have met here have made the event even more spectacular. We can't wait to visit again and I am going to pass the word to all my friends and relatives that they can't go wrong at The Oneida. God Bless until next time." Vanessa & Oana (Weekend radio show package)

"Thank you for the great job you did on our outdoor cookout Grooms dinner. The food and service couldn't have been better. What a great impression we made on our new in-laws and their friends. I would definitely refer you to anyone who asked .Ms. Nelson ( Rehearsal dinner at Wild Eagle Lodge))

Food, Fun, And Philosophy

It all started with a little book titled "Fish" about a struggling company that came alive with the help of the philosophy observed by the world famous fish mongers at Pike Place Market in Seattle and the company in Minneapolis that Wrote about it. So, after reading the book, I called a staff meeting, donned waders and hip boots and a hat festooned with lures & bait and "went fishing". And, we've been fishing ever since. Fishing for Excellent Customer Service, Top Quality food at a Reasonable Price, Glean and Inviting Environment, and an Upbeat, Team Based approach to work. In a "clam shell", we are committed to the "Fish Philosophy"- as exhibited by the fish mongers every day.

  • We will "Choose Our Attitudes"
  • We will "Be There For Our Guests"
  • We will "Make Their Day" and
  • We will "Play"

We saved our money for three years (fundraisers, fines, donations, etc) and finally i2007, 23 of The Oneida Village Staff flew to Seattle to meet our mentors. It was one of the proudest days of my life as our staff met with the fish mongers. We even appeared on several TV stations attired in our t-shirts proclaiming our dedication to the "Fish Philosophy"

Since that time, our crew has taken two trips. One to Charthouse Learning in Minneapolis to meet the publishers of the videos and books on the "Fish Philosophy" which, incidentally has spread wide and is used as a teamwork tool by such giants as Sprint, the U.S Army, meriad hospitals, universities etc. Our third trip was to Disney World where Dr. Mimi Hull educationally entertained us at a motivational workshop and Mickey & Goofy entertained us at night.

Our next trip is back TO SEATTLE and PIKE PLACE MARKET by the end of 2018

Award Winning Sunday Brunch serving 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. featuring 'omelettes made to order', plus all the traditional breakfast items and so much more. Featuring a fruit and juice bar, delightful dessert table and a friendly staff to serve you.
